Performers: Le Daoine
Le Daoine is a vibrant ensemble of emerging traditional music talents hailing from various corners of Ireland. Their journey to the spotlight began at the renowned Meitheal Summer School, where they triumphed in a highly competitive group competition, being awarded this performance opportunity as part of our Lunchtime Concert Series. The group comprises Mair茅ad O鈥楤rien, a master of the fiddle; Iarlaith MacArt谩in, a banjo virtuoso; the enchanting harpists Roisin Duffy and Clodagh Moylan; and the melodic prowess of Aoife Dullea on concertina. Together, they harmoniously weave traditional Irish melodies, promising an unforgettable musical experience.
