Jasmin Riter will read from her short story collection Orcawale. She was born in Stuttgart in 1983 and grew up in the south of Germany. After studying literature and linguistics and having a job in the book trade for many years, she lived in Berlin and Rome for some time. Today she lives with her family in the south of Germany again. Jasmin has won numerous awards, including the short story competition “Und in der Nacht fielen die Sterne vom Himmel” and the “Literaturpreis der Region Schwaben”. Her stories illuminate the challenges faced by marginalised protagonists and offer profound insights into social issues.
