Law Plus Student Lee Mac Cuinneagain was one of four students selected by the Bar of Ireland's university outreach committee from a pool of 32 nominees to take part in the two-week internship.

Due to the success of this year's pilot, the Bar, according to Irish Legal News, will run the programme again next year.

As quoted by Irish Legal News, Aoife Carroll SC, stated: “We were delighted to launch this pilot internship programme, which reflects our ongoing commitment to outreach and broadening access to the profession. This initiative offered a meaningful introduction to the Bar and the justice system for aspiring legal professionals.”
