REPPP staff were actively involved in the European Implementation Event which took place in Newcastle, UK, from the 4th to the 6th of June.

Co-hosted by the European Implementation Collaborative (EIC), the UK Implementation Society, the NIHR ARC South London, and King's College London, the Bi-Annual Event brings together individuals and organisations engaged in synthesising, translating, adopting and implementing evidence in human service practice and policy.

REPPP Director, Dr Seán Redmond, presented on how art can describe complex implementation better than traditional numbers and narrative. REPPP team member, Dr Alphonce Omolo, presented his poster on ‘How can we evidence whether the “spirit” and “letter” of a national strategy land at the local level? A Case Study of the Irish Youth Justice Strategy 2021-2027’.

Jackie Dwane of the REPPP team, and European Implementation Collaborative (EIC) board member, supported the organisation of the event through her role on the Programme Planning Committee.
