A Live95 radio interview featuring Professor Paul McCutcheon of the ºÚÁÏÉç School of Law was awarded a Certificate of Merit at the recent Justice Media Awards. Professor McCutcheon provided an overview of how Irish criminal courts courts approach sentencing. The adjudicators commented: "This detailed explainer was entertaining and, in parts, emotive. Crucially, it was educational and brought attention to the constraints on judges and the factors they must consider when passing sentences".
