The Intelligent Agents tool allows you to monitor student activity (e.g. log ins, course activity, assignment or quiz submissions, etc) and contact students automatically (watch this ).
However, please note that Intelligent Agents rely on the 鈥淟ast Accessed鈥 timestamp shown in the Classlist. If a student views content through direct file links鈥(like HTML, PDF, PPT) or via the Pulse app, and these interactions don鈥檛 trigger a formal "course access" event, the Classlist "Last Accessed" timestamp will not be updated. D2L has acknowledged that this is a limitation of how course access is currently tracked, and you should be aware of it when using this tool to contact your students.
To get more accurate results from the Intelligent Agent you are recommended to rely on a (for example, a quiz submission).
