5th CSEAR Ireland Conference
Review and renew: Reflections and renewed commitment to sustainability
The conference theme, Review and renew: Reflections and renewed commitment to sustainability, recognises the myriad of geopolitical complexities and operational issues that can appear insurmountable. It is important to reflect on what has been accomplished despite these challenges and to further renew commitment to sustainability. We aim to provide a supportive and intellectually engaging forum which fosters both emerging and established research. In keeping with the traditions of CSEAR, we invite diverse methodological approaches and interdisciplinary work that contributes to our understanding of social and environmental accounting, and the societal impact of accounting and accountability. Practice-focused and practical work, particularly with an emphasis on reflections and renewed commitment to sustainability, as well as theoretical papers are especially welcome.
The conference will feature a keynote discussion on the conference theme of Review and renew: Reflections and renewed commitment to sustainability, featuring Professor Jan Bebbington, from Lancaster University. Prof. Bebbington focusses on research that emerges at the intersection of sustainable development concerns and organisational operations.
