The purpose of the Nominating & Governance Committee (NGC) is to recommend to the Governing Authority persons suitable for appointment or reappointment (as the case may be) to the Governing Authority as External Members;
It will be required to make recommendations in relation to the filling of External Member casual vacancies of the Governing Authority; to recommend an External Member suitable to be considered by the Governing
Authority for appointment as the Chancellor; to make recommendations in relation to the appointment of Governing Authority Members and External Persons鹿 to the committees established under Section 18(4) of the 1997 Act.
The NGC shall also make recommendations in relation positions on subsidiary boards which are filled at the nomination of the Governing Authority.
The NGC shall also oversee the process for the annual self-assessment of the Governing Authority and of its committees.
