Brigitte Moody
Assistant Professor
is a lecturer in the Department of Physical Education & Sport Sciences with areas of expertise that include Dance Pedagogy, Adapted Physical Activity and Dance; Philosophy of Physical Education, Curriculum Studies in Dance and Physical Education. Brigitte has previously been course director for the part time Graduate Diploma/Masters in Dance, the Erasmus Mundus Master in Adapted Physical Activity (led by KU Leuven, Belgium), and the BSc in Physical Education. Brigette is also the co-founder and co-director of I-Play (adapted physical activity club for 5-21 years). Research interests include: social justice pedagogies, pedagogical practices in dance through self-study and adapted physical activity
