Thomas Royet 

is doctoral assistant in the Physical Education and Sport Research and Teaching Unit at the University of Teacher Education, State of Vaud (HEP Vaud) and attached to the Institute of Movement Sciences of Aix-Marseille University. The aim of his research work is to reflect on the implementation of an emancipatory education for sustainability in physical education (PE) practices. His research is focused both on PE teachers’ professional competencies in education for sustainability, and on concrete implementation in PE classroom for students (primary and secondary school).
