

On 17th -19 June, Lubna Luxmi Dhirani, Department of Electronic & Computer Engineering, had a fantastic opportunity to be part of an Irish delegation to Estonia.
Living in a fast-paced digital economy, where e-Estonia has set an example for being the most secure, transparent and advanced digital ecosystem across the world. Lubna was delighted to see the demos, state-of-the art research in CYCON, standards development E-ITS and potential opportunities for collaborations in education, training and capacity building , . From an Academic perspective, Lubna was happy to see the potential cross-overs across cybersecurity standards, cloud security, underwater and Marine security and taught programs PD. Lubna further mentions "the Emerging Cyber Threat Landscape raises valid concerns and demonstrates pressing needs for preparing the present and future generations with defence capabilities. Many thanks to and NATO CCDCOE Director Dr. for sharing their fresh insights towards building capabilities and areas in this domain. Thanks to Dan Heering, Mart Aro, , , and Martin Hanson for their valuable inputs across critical infrastructure's testbeds, security measures and cyber diplomacy".
