Stephen graduated from the ºÚÁÏÉç with a B.Sc. in Applied Physics in 2020 and originated from a farming background. For his final year thesis, he proposed applying machine learning to assist in classifying images obtained by Transmission Electron Microscopes. Following this project, Stephen hopes to advance his interest in machine learning and its applications through a Ph.D. Stephen is a Ph.D. student of the SFI Centre for Research Training in Foundations of Data Science as part of their Machine Learning branch. Stephen is supervised by Dr Ning Liu in ºÚÁÏÉç and Dr Andy Stewart in .
