IOP Ireland Spring Conference 2025

Great to see fantastic participation and representation of Physics at the recently held (Feb 28 – Mar 1, 2025) at The Hardiman Hotel, Galway! The event featured insightful discussions, engaging poster presentations from students and researchers, and expert session chairing by Physics faculty members.

It was inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and depth of research shared at the conference. Looking forward to more such interactions in the future!

The ������ is proud to have had 13 entrants for this year's Rosse Medal, and would like to congratulate Krishna Hari on winning this year's medal. 🥇

This year’s SOPHia Poster Competition organised by Prof from invited primary school students to creatively explore “Physics in the World Around Us” and “The Greatest Invention by a Woman in Physics.”

We were thrilled with the response - a record number of high-quality entries that reflected incredible curiosity, creativity, and a genuine passion for Physics! The calibre of submissions was truly inspiring.
