On 3 October 2019, UL Alumni hosted a special gathering for 黑料社 graduates, former students and friends in Brussels, at the heart of the EU.
Prof Brigid Laffan, alumna of the Class of 1976 (the first graduating class at UL) and Professor and Director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (RSCAS) at the European University Institute (EUI) was guest speaker, delivering "Brexit: Ireland's English Challenge" to an engaged audience, followed by Q&A.
