The Inclusive Practice group, one of the three subgroups of the AHSS Committee on Access, Retention and Engagement (CARE), is focused on developing policy and practice to support inclusive teaching and practice across the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Established in 2024 as part of a broader initiative to improve student retention and widen participation in line with the National Access Plan 2022–2028, the group plays a key role in fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Our work aims to ensure that teaching approaches are responsive to the diverse needs of students, supporting equitable engagement and success for all learners.
