A welcome message from Professor Patrick Kiely, Course Director  

Our Biomedical Science graduates have an excellent record of employment throughout the Biomedical sector, with many going on to work in leading biotechnology companies, start-up companies and hospital laboratories. Our graduates are working in exciting areas such as disease diagnosis, drug discovery and patient treatment. Several of our graduates are enrolled in PhD programmes and others have gone on to complete MSc programmes across the Biomedical space. By immersing our students in the educational environment of the School of Medicine and hospital, many of our Biomedical Science graduates opt to apply for entry to our BMBS Graduate Entry Medicine programme and other graduate programmes. We get to know our Biomedical Science students very well and it is important for us that we stay connected to all our graduates so we can share experiences and build our community.
