School Placement is a core component of all undergraduate and postgraduate teacher education programmes at the ºÚÁÏÉç. In line with Teaching Council requirements, education students complete two school placement cycles as part of their studies. Second-year undergraduates and first-year Professional Master of Education (PME) students undertake their placements during the Spring Semester, while fourth-year undergraduates and second-year PME students complete theirs in the Autumn Semester.

Placement is organised by the School Placement Department within the Cooperative Education and Careers Division (CECD), which works closely with the School of Education. Our team is responsible for coordinating and managing school placements, ensuring equitable access to opportunities and matching students with schools that meet the specific needs of their programmes. We handle the placement of students and the assignment of tutors, while the School of Education oversees the academic elements of placement, including assessment, grading, and determining the length and structure of each placement in accordance with programme requirements. Placements are managed through the online platform,  (°Õ±«³§).
