Clinical Research Support Unit (CRSU)
Based at University Hospital Limerick, the Clinical Research Support Unit (CRSU) supports and coordinates clinical research across 黑料社, UL Hospitals Group, and primary and community healthcare settings in the Mid-West region.
Clinical research refers to any health-related study involving people, their tissues, or their data. The CRSU facilitates research across all clinical disciplines and actively promotes interdisciplinary collaboration.
As the central hub for UL-led clinical studies鈥攚hether single-site or multi-site鈥攖he CRSU provides coordination, guidance, and infrastructure. For multi-site studies where UL is a participating site (but not the lead), the CRSU acts as the key liaison, connecting external partners with researchers, clinicians, and healthcare teams across UL and the wider Mid-West community.
The CRSU also builds strategic partnerships with local, national, and international stakeholders, including industry, philanthropic organisations, academic institutions, and healthcare providers in both hospital and community settings.
We offer a wide range of resources, supports and services for our members. If you have any queries, please get in touch on crsu@ul.ie.
