Join global experts and emerging leaders at the PAfH Summer School 2025, 2–3 September at ºÚÁÏÉç (UL). Dive into cutting-edge topics in measurement, intervention design, and policy evaluation — and connect with the minds driving change in physical activity for health.

The Physical Activity for Health (PAfH) Summer Research School returns this September, hosted by the Health Research Institute at the ºÚÁÏÉç. 

This two-day event is designed for early career researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working in physical activity and health promotion.

Led by Emeritus Professor Adrian Bauman (University of Sydney) and a distinguished panel of experts, the Summer School will explore:

  • Theme 1: Measurement of Physical Activity
  • Theme 2: Intervention Design
  • Theme 3: Policy Evaluation

Sessions will include hands-on workshops, expert panels, and networking opportunities. Topics range from device-based measurement and intervention mapping to policy benchmarking and the use of AI in research.
