The HRIs Limerick Digital Cancer Research Centre (LDCRC) is proud to announce its membership in the Digital Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research (DigiCORE) — a prestigious pan-European network dedicated to advancing cancer outcomes research and precision oncology.

By joining DigiCORE, LDCRC becomes part of a collaborative alliance of 33 leading cancer centres across 17 countries, united in their mission to harness real-world data and digital innovation to transform cancer care.

This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in LDCRC’s ambition to become an international hub for cancer biomedicine, bioinformatics, big data, and artificial intelligence. It builds on LDCRC’s leadership in initiatives such as the All-Island eHealth-Hub for Cancer, the OHDSI-national node, and participation in major EU programmes including ELIXIR, the Genomic Data Infrastructure (GDI), the CANDLE Project, and the European National Cancer Data Nodes.

For patients, this collaboration means enhanced capacity to drive data-informed policy, foster digital innovation, and deliver next-generation clinical trials — all underpinned by cutting-edge data interoperability and privacy-preserving analytics.
