The programmes associated with this MicroCred are:

On the successful completion of this module participants will understand:
• Evaluate network architectures and protocols used for Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
• Evaluate and assess the interdependencies that can be found in ICS/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks
• Recommend the most suitable standard industrial communication protocol for an application.
• Demonstrate an understanding of good practices in ICS networking.
• Value and accept the importance of good practices that promote security in Industrial Control Systems (ICS)/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
Level 8 degree (H2.2 award level or with appropriate industrial experience post-degree) in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering or related disciplines
Entry requirements are established to ensure the learner can engage with the course material and assessments, at a level suitable to their needs, and the academic requirements of the module. By applying to this micro-credential, you are confirming that you have reviewed and understand any such requirements, and that you meet the eligibility criteria for admission.
